Important notice: The WY Qualifiers for the Region 2 Grand Prix due to be held tomorrow (27th April) has been postponed.
Re-arranged date will be posted here once confirmed.
Applications are invited for the vacant post of West Yorkshire County Pool Association Secretary.
A brief job description is detailed below:
1. Handle all correspondence to and from the Association in a professional manner.
2. To keep a complete register of all affiliated leagues and recognised personnel with the Association.
3. To provide an agenda of all points required to hold a full meeting of the Association, record minutes of meetings of the Association and provide copies of those minutes to the next meeting.
4. To assist where required in supplying information to National and Regional Committees.
5. Supply all information required to the various officials and sub-sections within the Association.
6. Receive and authorize all ID Documentation collected by the Treasurer and input relevant information into the National Registration Database in line with prescribed deadlines.
7. Attend Regional Meetings throughout the year, and attend the National AGM each year on behalf of the County.

Due to the re-arranged County Match below, the second Interleague KO Qualifiers has been brought forward to Sunday 2nd June.
Registration is 10am for 10.30/10.45am start.
The postponed County match against GMC has been re-arranged to Sunday 23rd June

Danny Magee update: After fierce competition Danny got knocked out in Round 4 of the England Junior Team Trials. Nevertheless a tremendous effort and still a very worthy achievement.
Region 2 Grand Prix Finals
The Grand Prix Finals were played on 20th January at Stephen Hendry's Club, Preston. Anita Goodman (WY) unfortunately lost to Anne Roccia in the quarter finals of the Ladies section. John Betts (WY) also lost in the quarter finals of the Seniors section to Harris Ali (WY). Yuk San Lee (WY) and Harris Ali won through to meet in the final of the Seniors section.
Yuk San beat Harris to become the Winner of the Region 2 Grand Prix Seniors section.
